Following the delivery of the first pin piles, Boskalis’s crane vessel Bokalift 1 installed them in early July 2021 and completed the campaign by mid-August that same year, and moved onto the installation of three-legged jacket foundations.

The remaining 69 pin piles were delivered by Century Wind Power which is also responsible for the delivery of the jackets, together with Bladt Industries.

Boskalis is responsible for the transportation and installation of the wind farm’s 62 jacket foundations and the 186 accompanying pin piles. The Dutch company is carrying out the work in a joint venture with Taiwan’s Hwa Chi Construction Co.

According to Sanou, there are still 50 jacket foundations left to be installed on the offshore construction site.
