The Hull facility is producing the 75-metre blades for the 84 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines, each with a 154-meter rotor diameter, to be installed on the 588MW wind farm in the Outer Moray Firth, Scotland.

The installation of the 86 jacket foundations is ongoing, with the wind farm recently also receiving the first of the two Siemens offshore transformer modules (OTMs).

The first turbines are expected to be installed in summer 2018, and the wind farm is scheduled for commissioning by the end of 2019.

The wind farm is being developed by Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd (BOWL), a joint venture partnership between SSE (40%), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (35%) and Red Rock Power Ltd. (25%).
