SeaRoc Host Free Demonstration of SeaPlanner Web-Based Management Tools (UK)

Training & Education

Marine engineering company SeaRoc, part of the Natural Power group, will be hosting a two hour webinar which will provide an interactive demonstration of SeaPlanner, the innovative suite of modular, web-based management tools.

Presented by Dominic Stratton, SeaPlanner GIS Manager at SeaRoc, the webinar will provide a full insight into the functionality of this ground-breaking software and how SeaPlanner is being used by developers from the first survey and throughout the lifecycle of the project. It will demonstrate how SeaPlanner is being used to increase the efficiency and safety of offshore projects.

“SeaPlanner has been used on over half of UK’s installed offshore capacity and we look forward to showing the advantages that using SeaPlanner can bring to an offshore project. This webinar will demonstrate the benefits of the system and give real case study examples of how the software is bringing value to its users on a daily basis” Dominic Stratton, GIS Manager, SeaRoc.

Designed specifically for the offshore renewable industry, SeaPlanner is an innovative suite of six modular, web-based management tools that are fully customisable to project requirements.

Spatial Database: An externally hosted database server providing storage and instant access to all project spatial (GIS/CAD) data through your standard web browser

Document Manager: A comprehensive document repository, providing all stakeholders instant access to vital project documentation

HSE: A collaborative risk management, and incident and accident web based reporting module

Marine Operations: An interactive map application incorporating site assets, real-time vessel movements (AIS), and personnel tracking overlaid on a nautical chart

Personnel Manager: A personnel management system incorporating the control of site access, certification and the monitoring of personnel locations from an automated tracking system

Resource Manager: Resource scheduling for project and portfolio management, enabling scheduling of personnel, vessels, and work packages in conjunction with your projects

Each module can be used independently or as part of a larger capability that takes each project through the lifecycle of requirements.
