EnBW is looking for a helicopter including aeronautical and medical crew which will be used for rescuing injured personnel at the offshore wind farms.

The contract will start on 1 March 2020 and will take place until 28 February 2024. It is subject to renewal, with the option for prolongation of 2 years.

The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 7 November by 15:00 local time.

Hohe See comprises 71 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines located approximately 98km north of Borkum. The 497MW offshore wind farm delivered first power mid-July.

The neighboring 112MW Albatros project comprises 16 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines, which were installed at the offshore site some 104km off the coast in September.

The two projects are being built as one and are due to be put into operation by the end of the year. The wind farms are owned by EnBW, Enbridge, and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
