Bob MacDonald, Wood Group’s CEO, Specialists Technical Solutions said: “Wood Group has provided technical services, consulting and advisory services for renewable energy projects around the world for over 14 years. From our beginnings focused on wave power, we have grown and enhanced our clean energy portfolio, providing solutions to complex technological challenges in onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, hydro and biomass. The appointment of Jan provides us with the leadership to drive further growth.

“Clean energy, water and climate are primary considerations of the energy and industrial sectors that we serve and our focus and aim is to provide customers with efficient and effective solutions to the challenges they face.”

Jan Dell said: “Wood Group’s expertise across the spectrum of energy resources and value chain is a dynamic platform to advance the global energy transition that is underway. I’m pleased to join the launch of the clean energy group and bring my passion for progress to the enterprise.”
