UK: Technip Offshore Wind Achieves Major HSE Acreditation

Technip Offshore Wind has achieved a significant business milestone with the company’s innovative health, safety and environmental (HSE) management systems being accredited to two international industry benchmarks.

The company has been endorsed with the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard as well as the OHSAS 18001:2007 for Occupational Safety & Health Standard following a year of working diligently to further enhance its HSE infrastructure.

Technip’s achievement underpins its commitment to becoming an industry leader in HSE performance as a leading provider of specialist offshore wind installation and project management services.

The scope of certification comprehensively covers Technip’s market-leading business and operational capabilities which span project management, engineering, and design and installation solutions for the offshore renewables industry including cable lay, marine operations, logistics management, maintenance, repair, and associated site activities.

The scope of the certification includes Technip Offshore Wind’s offices in Aberdeen and Gateshead, as well as its base at the Port of Sunderland, and its Cable Lay Barges, the Discoverer, UR101 and UR141.
