FoundOcean Reorganises its UK Offshore Service Base Operations

FoundOcean, the subsea and offshore grouting specialist for the global energy construction industries, is undergoing a major reorganisation at its UK Offshore Service Base in Livingston as it says farewell to one of the longest serving members of the company, Peter Lauder, as he retires after 27 years of service.

FoundOcean, the subsea and offshore grouting specialist for the global energy construction industries, has undergone a major reorganisation at its UK Offshore Service Base in Livingston as it says farewell to one of the longest serving members of the company, Peter Lauder, as he retires after 27 years of service.

Mark Boyd has taken over many of Peter Lauder’s day-to-day responsibilities associated with the operations in Livingston under the new role of Operations Manager. He will report to Paul Burns, Operations Director.

Damien Murphy, formerly Engineering Manager, is now Engineering Director taking on responsibility for the design, development and maintenance of the new and existing fleet of equipment.

George Prosser has moved to the diverse role of Plant Supervisor taking on the day-to-day running of the workshop including supervising fitters, welders, electricians and stores. Brian Sherry, currently a long-term mechanic with FoundOcean, moves into George’s previous role as Foreman Mechanic.

Dean Manders and Mark Hannaway, both very experienced and capable offshore personnel and Equipment Operators, have been promoted to Supervisor with Mark taking on the additional responsibility for Safety and Training of offshore personnel.

In addition to the changes at our Offshore Service Base, Richard Latham takes over responsibility for managing and preparing proposals in response to client RFQs and ITTs as Senior Engineer.
