50 Turbines Stand at Hornsea Two Offshore Wind Farm

50 of the 165 Siemens Gamesa 8.4 MW wind turbines have been installed at the 1,386 MW Hornsea Two, soon to be the largest offshore wind farm in the world.

DEME Offshore’s jack-ups Sea Installer and Sea Challenger are transporting the turbines from Siemens Gamesa’s facilities in the Port of Hull and installing them at the site some 89 kilometres north-east of Grimsby, the UK.

Sea Challenger installed the first wind turbine at the site at the end of May.
