The tender is divided into three lots, with the first focusing on fixed-foundations engineering consultancy services and the second on floating foundations engineering consultancy services.

In the third lot, ESB is looking for offshore geotechnical engineering consultancy services.

ESB intends to procure a multi-party framework to deliver the scope of services, which will vary pending the project-specific requirements.

The duration of the contracts is eight years. The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 4 June by 12:00 local time.

The Irish state-owned electricity company is behind the development of the 330 MW Oriel and the 500 MW Clogherhead wind farms in Ireland through a partnership with Parkwind. The company has also teamed up with Equinor to co-develop offshore wind assets in Ireland.

Outside Ireland, ESB holds a 12.5% stake in the operational 335 MW Galloper offshore wind farm in the UK and 50% in the 448 MW Neart na Gaoithe project off Scotland, currently under construction.
