The Netherlands-based consultancy and engineering company IX Wind has opened an office in Tokyo, Japan, with an aim to service the APAC renewables market.
Earlier this year, IX Wind signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TÜV SÜD for collaboration in the Japanese wind energy market.
The deal focuses on the performance improvement and inspections of wind turbines, as well as the full scope of supply quality management and control and due diligence.
To remind, IX Wind opened an office in Taipei, Taiwan, in 2018 from which it serviced clients from Taiwan, Korea, China and Japan.
The company’s Asian team is coordinated by Paris Tzou and Rob van Veen, who just joined the new office.
