TenneT Wants UXO Consultants for German Bight

TenneT Offshore has issued a tender seeking geophysical consultancy services for the German Bight in the North Sea.

The contractor will provide UXO consultants for QA/QC supervision services during land and vessel-based data acquisition in the 12 nmz Zone and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

The awarded company will be in charge of acting as TenneT’s representative in offshore UXO clearance campaigns for cable and platform installation projects, as well as cable repairs and remedial cable burial.

Additionally, the tender covers the provision of independent data analysis and interpretation, both at the site office or on survey vessels.

The consultant shall provide independent processing and interpretation of the survey using the raw acquired data provided by the contractor in order to identify all ferrous anomalies within the data set.

Upon the conclusion of the acquisition and processing works, the consultant will prepare and participate in a route working group meeting to finalize the anomaly target list and a re-engineered route position list.

The duration of the contract is three years, with options for two renewals, each time by 12 months.
