DEME Unites Offshore Activities

DEME Group has integrated the activities of its subsidiaries GeoSea, Tideway, A2Sea and EverSea into one business.

DEME Offshore will combine renewable energy and oil & gas activities, as well as other offshore related activities.

Hugo Bouvy is the Managing Director of the new business, with Bart De Poorter assuming the role of General Manager for the renewables and Lucas Bols taking the same role for oil & gas and other offshore activities.

“We see the transformation of the energy market as a great opportunity,” said Luc Vandenbulcke, CEO of DEME. “By joining forces and expertise, combined with our state-of-the-art fleet, we are confident that DEME Offshore will be in a unique position to help our customers achieve their aspirations in the offshore oil, gas and renewable energy sector.”

DEME Group said that the announcement comes due to the ambition to provide the most comprehensive offering of solutions, services and equipment to its oil, gas and renewable energy customers.
