According to Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, the vessel arrived in Hull yesterday afternoon and is ready to pick up the turbines for the 1.2GW project.

Bold Tern is in charge of transporting and installing half of the wind farm’s turbines, with the remainder set to be installed by A2SEA.

As reported earlier, Windhoist Limited has recently pre-assembled 24 turbines which are waiting for pick-up.

Hornsea Project One will comprise a total of 174 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines located some 120km off the Yorkshire coast. The 1.2GW project is expected to be commissioned in 2020.
