ScottishPower Renewables Continues East Anglia Offshore Wind Tour

ScottishPower Renewables is holding public information days in March regarding the development of the East Anglia Two and East Anglia One North offshore wind projects.

According to the company, the events will provide the public with an update on the progress of the projects, as well as an opportunity to give feedback to the development team.

The venues and the dates of the meetings are listed in the table below:

This is the second time ScottishPower Renewables is hosting public information days for the two projects, with the previous held in October 2017 when the company wanted to gauge opinions ahead of the formal consultation for the wind farms.

The East Anglia Two project is located some 31km from Lowestoft and covers an area of 257km2. Initial studies have indicated a potential generating capacity of up to 900MW, and a planning application could be submitted in 2019.

East Anglia One North could have a capacity of up to 800MW and is located approximately 36km off the coast, covering an area of 209km2. A planning application could be submitted in 2020.
