RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Électricité) is looking for Marine Warranty Surveyor services for the offshore connections of which the French transmission system operator is in charge.
RTE is responsible for offshore connections of the Calvados, Fécamp and Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farms – all three being developed by Eolien Maritime France (EMF) – and other future offshore connection projects.
The Marine Warranty Surveyor services will cover review and approval of the technical documentation following a subsea cable laying contract, including analysis of the quality and the compliance of key elements of the projects (laying vessel, trenching tools).
The selected company will also oversee subsea cable laying and protection operations, as well as other operations prior to offshore works, and participate in several meetings with RTE and different stakeholders of the projects.
Deadline for submission of tenders is 20 February 2017.
