The company will also work on the full float out of the 5,000-tonne caisson.

OCTRA is supporting the Floatgen project together with her sister company Coordinadora and partner company Muller Dordrecht.

Construction works on Ideol’s Floatgen project started last month, as announced in June.

This first 2MW French unit will be installed on the SEM-REV experimental test site located off the town of Croisic in France, for a minimum of 2 years.
