Blue Water Discusses Port Readiness for Marine Energy in France
Blue Water France was invited to participate in a panel discussion at MRE (Marine Renewable Energy) conference in Le Havre. The topic of discussion was: Are the port and logistics operators ready?
Blue Water gave input on the challenges ahead and complimented the ports for the investments already made.
It is the first time that the MRE conference is hosted but the event brought many of the industry players in France together. The location in Le Havre is no coincidence. So far the French authorities have planned three wind farms to be constructed close to Le Havre making it a close-to-the-action choice for industry experts to meet and share their thoughts and ideas.
Blue Water was asked to participate based on its many years of local experience in France and global experience in offshore wind. Blue Water has been in France since 1985 and operates from Marseille, Brest, St. Nazaire and Nantes.
