SgurrEnergy Company of the Year at British Renewable Energy Awards

SgurrEnergy has won the top award category at British Renewable Energy Awards (BREA).

At the packed black tie dinner, hosted by the Renewable Energy Association at the Savoy Hotel, London, the SgurrEnergy team was awarded ‘Company of the Year’.

The accolade recognised the efforts of the business, which has successfully driven the advancement of renewable energy in the UK during the previous year.

Technical director, and joint founder of SgurrEnergy, Ian Irvine, said: “The last year has been a busy one for SgurrEnergy – from tackling research and development and launching new services to delivering complex renewables projects globally.

“SgurrEnergy was built on the belief that well planned, designed and optimised renewable energy projects will positively impact today’s world and it’s so rewarding to be recognised by industry awards for our efforts to drive this forward in the UK and beyond. We’re honoured to be successful in this category and will look forward to continuing to deliver exciting projects around the world.”

This recognition follows a win in the project category in last year’s BREA awards for SgurrEnergy’s work on the development of the Salkhit project, Mongolia’s first wind farm.
