Sea Challenger installed 18th wind turbine in Dong Energy’s Westermost Rough project on 27 January 2015.
Project Manager Morten S. Pedersen from A2SEA commented: “The installation of turbine no. 18 went according to plan, safely and smooth. The co-operation between the crew on board Sea Challenger and the installation teams from Siemens Wind Power and DONG Energy is working very well.”
A2SEA’s vessel will continue with the installation of Siemens 6 MW turbines at 210 MW wind farm. After it is completed, the 35 turbine offshore wind farm project will be able to produce enough electricity for around 200,000 homes.
