Team Vestas Wind Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (VIDEO)

Two team members of Team Vestas Wind, which is participating in Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2015, have took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (check out the video below the text). 

Vestas Wind, the first-ever Danish boat to compete in the Volvo Ocean Race, will showcase Vestas’ products and services, enhance customer relations and bolster Vestas’ profitable growth strategy on its race around the world.

Nine sailors who will represent Team Vestas Wind in the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2015 are:

• Chris Nicholson (Australia) – Skipper
• Nicolai Sehested (Denmark) – Trimmer and Boat Captain
• Peter Wibroe (Denmark) – Hellman’s trimmer, data processing and food
• Tony Rae (New Zealand) – Hellman’s trimmer, Medic, Sail maker
• Rob Salthouse (New Zealand) – Watch Captain, Driver, Trimmer, Sail maker
• Tom Johnson (Australia) – Hellman’s trimmer, Bowman and Sail maker
• Wouter Verbraak (Netherlands) – Navigator
• Maciel Cichetti (Argentina) – Watch Captain, Driver, Trimmer
• Brian Carlin (Ireland) – On Board Reporter
