Estonia on Its Way to Get First Offshore Wind Farm
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed yesterday between the Parish Government of Hiiumaa Island and Nelja Energia AS, with an aim to develop Estonian first offshore wind farm.
The parish governor Georg Linkov signed the agreement with Martin Kruus, CEO of Nelja Energia’s and a board member of Hiiumaa Offshore Windfarm Ltd.
In line with the agreement, the offshore wind farm will provide electricity to residents and local companies on Hiiumaa Island.
