RTE France Requires Contractor for Offshore Wind Farm Impact Assessments

RTE France (Réseau de transport d’électricité) is seeking contractors to provide offshore wind farm impact assessments and related documents for the electrical connection of offshore wind farms.

The work relates to part-marine and part-terrestrial connections, bibliographic and measurement studies undertaken for campaigns at sea and ashore and landfill alluvial mapping.

Within this contract, RTE also requires realisation, diagnosis or ecological expertise (studies for regulatory protected species, detailed inventories), benthic studies, fisheries, marine mammals, avifauna, bats, Natura2000 impact studies, archaeological evaluation, acoustic studies, studies for forest clearing, hydrological and hydro-geological studies, geophysical seabed and hydro-sedimentary studies.

The wind farm impact assessments project is scheduled to start on February 1, 2013 with completion on June 28, 2013.
