Research and Markets Presents Report on New Renewable Energy Draft Law in Poland

Research and Markets has announced the addition of GlobalData’s new report “New Renewable Energy Draft Law in Poland – Will It Make a Difference?” to their offering.

Poland’s Ministry of Economy recently presented a new, updated version of the Renewable Energy Sources (RES) Act. The updated version is different from the present RES law and also from the draft proposed in the beginning of 2012. Amendments made to the previous proposed draft focus mainly on installing photovoltaic (PV) installations and offshore wind over biomass and onshore wind. It also promotes small solar and hydro plants, simplifying the administrative processes for grid connection and operations. The new RES law is expected to be implemented at the beginning of 2013.
