SCHRAMM, Elbe Holding Cooperate in Offshore Wind Services, Germany

SCHRAMM Group GmbH & Co. KG (Brunsbüttel) and Elbe Holding GmbH & Co. KG (Cuxhaven) have joined forces in order to provide services to offshore wind industry stakeholders from the Cuxhaven Port.

The convenient access Port of Cuxhaven enables to many offshore wind farms in the North Sea is of great strategic importance for the construction, service and maintenance of offshore wind turbines.

Elbe Holding operates in the area of extensive outdoor and indoor storage at the new fishing port and offers services related to handling, storage and administration. On the other hand, SCHRAMM Group brings into the partnership its know-how on loading, transportation and delivery logistics.

The new fishing port situated in Cuxhaven is an ideal base location for the operational phase of offshore wind farms, since it offers total independence from weather conditions.

From this port, Elbe Holding, acting through an affiliated company, was handling the entire supply and waste management of drilling and production on Mittelplate Island.

In addition to that, SCHRAMM Group conducted many transportation projects and not only for offshore wind farms. The firm also disposes of its own fleet of specialized offshore vessels.

Both businesses are able to provide adequate solutions to meet the requirements of the industry, including all skills necessary for a smooth and safe process.
