UK: Renewable Energy Companies Invite Students to Seawork 2012

The companies from the renewable energy industry, which are to attend Seawork International commercial marine showcase and conference on May 22 – 24, are seeking talented students to join the industry, the Daily Echo reports.

Renewable energy is predicted to have a fourfold increase in number of jobs in the next eight years, thus the need for skilled and educated young people is continuously rising.

Students from universities across the region, along with Southampton’s secondary schools pupils and academics, have been invited to Seawork. Its Maritime Training and Careers Trail will present 20 recruitment agencies, education centres and marine schools, as well as the potential employers who will offer apprenticeships and training.
