GMSH Invites Tenders for Multi-purpose Pier Brunsbüttel Operators (Germany)

GMSH has invited tenders for multi-purpose pier Brunsbüttel operators. The offshore wind energy market will play the central role in German energy policy changes.

Although other states already have a big lead in the development and production capacities, a certified report of Schleswig-Holstein provides good opportunities for the establishment of production facilities. In particular, Brunsbüttel will be based on its location as an area for manufacturing and shipping and therefore, the port needs to establish large-scale components such as towers and foundations, if the necessary infrastructure is to be offered.

The Development Corporation Brunsbüttel Ltd intends to develop the port capacity by adding a new multi-purpose pier at the same time. This pier is being constructed in accordance with the requirements of the offshore wind industry.

The tender deadline is March 09, 2012.
