Gerd Buss Stevedoring Expects Successful 2012 (Germany)

The Gerd Buss Stevedoring wants to strengthen its market position in 2012. Buss’ subsidiary has wide product portfolio and location-independent services.

“We look forward with confidence to the coming year 2012. The Gerd Buss Stevedoring is well positioned in the industry.“ said Wilfried Gerotzke, Managing Director of Gerd Buss Stevedoring. The fact that they are not tied to one location and well experienced staff, is an important competitive factor for strengthening their market position next year.

The Buss owned subsidiary is currently providing services for smooth operations in the ports of Hamburg, Bremen, Eemshaven, Sassnitz and Stade of the quay.

Not only at the terminals of the parent company Buss Group, but also in other locations, it provides stowage, lashing and securing of cargo, counseling and provision of personnel and the complete handling of the goods. The range of services includes freight project cargo and general cargo of all kinds, container (conventional loading) and all types of vehicles, iron and steel as well.

“Even in the areas of logistics and port services for the offshore wind sector, the experts of Gerd Buss Buss Stevedoring will in future play an important role,” said Michael Berger, General Manager at Buss Ports.
