Narec Appoints Three New Members to Board of Directors (UK)

 

Narec has appointed three members of its senior management team to executive board positions.

Tony Ikwue, Director of Technology and Innovation, joins the Narec board with responsibility for R&D and strategy.In this role he will ensure Narec’s strategic alignment with Government policies in the renewable energy field and work with industry and academia help to identify technology needs and solutions.

Tony Quinn, Director of Major Projects and Assets, joins the board of Narec Development Services Limited. Tony is overseeing the design, construction and business delivery of a £105M investment programme for offshore renewable blade and drive train test facilities. He is overseeing the development of the offshore wind turbine demonstration site and is also responsible for the delivery of existing marine and blade testing services.

Steven Caseley, Commercial Director, joins the board of Narec Development Services Limited. Steven heads up the organisation’s client facing activities. His focus is on developing strategic commercial relationships with manufacturers, project developers and utilities for accelerated lifetime testing of prototype wind and marine technologies, as well as a range of technical services based around these facilities.
