Tekmar Clinches EUR 5 Million Cable Protection Contract

Tekmar Energy has secured a GBP 4.5 million (around EUR 5 million) contract to supply subsea cable protection products for an operational offshore wind farm.

The company left the name of the offshore wind farm for which it has won the contract, and any other specific information, undisclosed.

The cable protection contract, which will be delivered in 2021, also includes work for Tekmar Energy’s sister companies Subsea Innovation and AgileTek Engineering.

Back in October 2020, Tekmar Energy won a contract to supply its TekLink cable protection systems (CPS) for an offshore wind farm in Germany, also leaving the project name undisclosed. The same month, the company announced that it had secured contracts to provide its cable protection system for the Sheyang, Qidong and Dalian Zhuanghe offshore wind projects in China.
