Fred. Olsen Windcarrier Finishes First Cable Job
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier has completed its first-ever offshore wind cable job.

The first cable job was carried out in January when the company’s jack-up vessel Brave Tern joined two power cables at the Albatros offshore wind farm in Germany for Prysmian.

According to Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, the vessel is currently working on a cable job also for Prysmian.
The EnBW Albatros project comprises 16 Siemens Gamesa SWT-7.0-154 turbines located some 104km off the coast of Germany.
The 112MW offshore wind farm commenced operations at the beginning of January.
