Vattenfall Looks For DanTysk Turbine Maintenance Squad

Vattenfall has issued a tender seeking wind turbine maintenance services on the 288MW DanTysk offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.

The service agreement covers the scheduled maintenance of 54 wind turbines in 2020 and 80 units in 2021. The contract is expected to start in June 2020 and end in June 2021.

The services will include the provision of scheduled maintenance tasks including the provision of all consumables, spare parts, tools, data, documentation as well as logistics and accommodation.

The tender remains open until 3 July 2019.

The DanTysk wind farm comprises 80 Siemens 3.6MW wind turbines installed some 70 kilometres west of the island of Sylt.

The wind farm, a joint venture project between Vattenfall (51%) and Stadtwerke München (49%), was fully commissioned in April 2015.
