Ørsted plans to sign a global framework agreement for the system, which will enable it to coordinate, monitor and supervise offshore activities across multiple wind farms and make logistics data available for further analysis.

The ambition is to have one global implemented digitalized, scalable solution across both engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and operations (OPS), the Danish developer said.

Primary users of the management solution will be marine and helicopter coordinators and offshore, logistics management staff within both EPC and OPS, as well as offshore.

According to Ørsted, the system should support HSE, regulatory and authority requirements, knowledge harvesting, and so on, related to activities at offshore wind farms, as well as be able to adapt to special future requirements in project construction and operation phases.

Among a number of other requirements, the IT solution needs to provide an overview of all assets in the wind farm and their status, and visually track all vessels, helicopters and personnel working offshore.

The contract will be signed for a duration of five years, with the possibility of a two-year extension.

Deadline for submitting applications is 01 February at 12:00 local time.
