Boskalis has secured a contract for the supply and installation of the inter-array cables for the Moray East offshore wind farm in Scotland.

Boskalis signed a Preferred Bidder Agreement for the project in June 2017, which has now been converted into a binding contract following the financial close of the wind farm.
Under the circa EUR 110 million contract, the Dutch company is in charge of the design, supply, installation and burial, as well as termination and testing of 102 66kV inter-array cables.
The work is scheduled to be carried out in 2020 and 2021.
The news follows the announcement that the developer Moray Offshore Windfarm (East) Ltd signed a firm turbine supply order with MHI Vestas for the delivery of 100 of its V164-9.5 MW turbines.
The 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm, located 22km from the coast in the Outer Moray Firth zone, is expected to be fully operational in 2022.
