Tekmar Energy, UK-based cable protection system (CPS) specialist, has strengthened its team “due to confidence in future demand and business growth.”

Tekmar has named Rob McGill as the HSQE Manager who is, according to the company, bringing to the team his experience in the industries of oil and gas and renewables for the likes of Shell, Total, ENI, and most recently working as the QHSE Manager for Bladt on DONG’s Hornsea Project.

In order to develop Tekmar’s production into a lean, innovative and more cost efficient operation, Dean Milburn has joined as the Production Manager contributing with his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and more than 25 years of manufacturing experience from multiple sectors, Tekmar stated.

The company has also chosen Helen Brooks for the position of the Financial Controller, and will work on ensuring cost and commercial compliance within the financial and legal team.

James Ritchie, CEO at Tekmar said: “People are our greatest asset and one of our core values. In order for us to grow and ensure excellence, we need to challenge the way we work and through the recent appointments to our internal management I am confident that their additional skills will support us in our joint vision to be the global partner of choice.”
