Fred. Olsen Ocean’s jack-up business unit, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS, had already carried the ISO certifications.

The companies now covered by this certification are Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier A/S, Universal Foundation A/S and Fred. Olsen Windcarrier International Ltd.

“These certificates, as well as the ISM Code DoCs, serve as proof that the Fred. Olsen Ocean companies are working in compliance with all significant HSEQ management standards, underlining robust processes and quality across our business,” said Jan Fredrik Platou, Head of HSEQ.

The process, which started in autumn 2016, was completed this month, with the aim to establish a streamlined and consistent work process across the Fred. Olsen Ocean companies. A common management system has been established and the administration process has been simplified, the company said.

”The certification of Universal Foundation’s processes and management system witnesses another important step as a commercial company. It is strong proof to our clients, that they have a professional partner, who can help them in winning tomorrow’s development bids for offshore wind farms. And that makes me proud on behalf of our team,” said Kristian Ravn, Managing Director of Universal Foundation A/S.
