The vessel has remained on the wind farm, but is now under charter with Van Oord, according to Island Offshore.

The new charter with the Dutch company will continue until the end of September, Island Offshore said.

Nordsee One is a 336MW wind farm being built some 40 kilometres north off the island of Juist.

The wind farm will comprise 54 Senvion 6.2M126 turbines, currently being installed by MPI Offshore’s jack-up MPI Enterprise.

Nordsee One is owned by Northland Power Inc. (85%) and innogy SE (15%) and is expected to be fully commissioned at the end of 2017.
