Sea Challenger has already picked up the second four-turbine batch from the load out port in Hull and is en route to the installation site, A2SEA told Offshore WIND.

All 67 turbines are expected to be installed by the end of summer this year.

Sea Challenger had also served as an accommodation vessel on the project from September 2016 to the end of the year.

The Dudgeon offshore wind farm is a GBP 1.5 billion project being jointly developed by Statoil, Masdar and Statkraft, expected to be fully commissioned by late 2017.

Statoil is developing the Dudgeon offshore wind farm and will continue as its operator when it starts generating electricity in early 2017.
