Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm, a project company comprising RWE and Statkraft, submitted an application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) for the Triton Knoll Electrical System in April 2015.

As a result of responses to statutory consultation on the electrical system in 2014 and discussions with stakeholders, a number of changes have been made to the project.

Located approximately 32 kilometres off the coast of Lincolnshire, the Triton Knoll wind farm will comprise up to 288 turbines with total capacity of up to 900MW.
