Three tower sections embarked the journey in Northern Spain, where the manufacturing facility is located, while the nacelle was picked up in France. The Heavy Lift Vessel sailed out towards Hanstholm, the closest port facilities to Østerild site where is established the onshore testing center.

Once arrived and unloaded at the Danish port, the cargo was transported to the site by means of different hydraulic vehicles.

The 6MW offshore wind turbine prototype will be installed at the test site by Global Wind Service (GWS) and BMS Heavy Cranes.
