Wind Solution Off to DanTysk
As of March 2016, C-bed’s flotel Wind Solution is off to the German North Sea and the 288MW DanTysk offshore wind farm on a maintenance assignment.
During the coming months, she will be offering storage and workshop facilities, as well as providing accommodation for up to 100 offshore service technicians in single cabins.
During this project, transfer of workers to the offshore wind turbines will be done via crew transfer vessels using Wind Solutions’ upgraded, purpose-built boat landing.
DanTysk comprises 80 Siemens Wind Power 3.6MW turbines and produced the first power in December 2014.
The wind farm is located 90km from the Port of Esbjerg, Denmark, which will function as base port for Wind Solution during the project contract period.
