EnBW Hohe See is located 90km from shore in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), in close proximity to previous Fred. Olsen Windcarrier installation projects, the BARD and Global Tech I wind farms.

Martin Degen, Commercial Manager for Fred. Olsen Windcarrier said: “This new contract will continue to reinforce our prime position in the German North Sea and strengthen our relationship with Siemens.”

This is the fourth time for Fred. Olsen Windcarrier and Siemens to have cooperated on offshore wind projects in the German North Sea.

The two companies worked together on the Riffgat and Butendiek wind farms, in 2013 and 2015 respectively, and will also work on installing turbines at the Veja Mate wind farm in 2017.
