Offshore WIND’s photo of the day: Seacat Intrepid under construction at South Boats IoW facility.
South Boats IoW is currently building Seacat Services’ first 26-meter wind farm support vessel. This is the second vessel out of the three ordered last year in August.
According to the contract, the vessel manufacturer has up to 24 months to deliver all three vessels.
With a maximum speed of 27 knots the vessel is capable to transfer up to 12 technicians to and from an offshore wind farm.
You can find Seacat Intrepid and many more vessels in our new vessels section.
