Meet Offshore WIND Team at Seawork

The visitors to the annual Seawork International event will not just be able to enjoy the good weather that is promised by some forecasters, when looking at all the new vessels and talking to the exhibitors in Southampton next week.

Meet Offshore WIND Team at SeaworkThey will also be able to attend all the naming and handing over ceremonies of the new vessels along the pontoon jetty.

On Tuesday the Mercurio-built Kitty Petra will be handed over to Tidal Transit, Damen will be holding the naming ceremony of their first FCS 2008 that is going to work in the Windwave Workboats fleet, the 23m Alicat Workboat Dalby Swale will be joining the Dalby Offshore fleet, and the CTruk built Ocean Warrior will be handed over to Ocean Transit Services before going to work with CWind in Germany.

So far the Wednesday agenda is a little less busy with the Stingray, a Damen FCS 2610 being handed over to MarineCo UK Ltd and the 24m South Boat-built Seacat Ranger joining the fleet of Seacat Services based on the Isle of Wight.
