Natural Power’s Men Chonsen for RenewableUK Strategy Groups

Senior members of staff at international renewable energy consultancy Natural Power have been selected to represent the industry with the UK’s leading not for profit renewable energy trade association, RenewableUK.

Natural-Power-Expands-Its-Ecological-Expertise-UKRenewableUK currently has over 600 corporate members and since 2008 the organisation has developed a set of 35 formalised working groups, allowing members who are experts in their field to help guide policy and communication activities. The aim of the working groups is to ensure that the membership body fairly and accurately represents the full cross-section of views from their membership.

Giles Dearden, Director of Planning and Development Services at Natural Power has worked in the industry since 2000. Giles’ extensive experience has led him to be appointed into the Onshore Strategy Group with RenewableUK.

John Woodruff, Principal Consultant in Planning and Development Services and lead in the company’s Welsh office in Aberystwyth since 2005, has been reappointed on to the RenewableUK Cyrmu group.

Natural Power’s Planning and Development team has, as lead consultants, achieved consents for Clients on over 1 GW of renewable energy capacity onshore and 1.2 GW offshore.

Alex Woodward, Head of Marketing at Natural Power has been selected and further appointed as Vice Chair in the External Affairs Strategy Group.
