Energypedia Collaborates with IRELP

Energypedia has partnered up with the Abu Dhabi based IRENA Renewable Energy Learning Partnership (IRELP). IRELP, a project of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), is the central hub for renewable energy education. The project was formed to increase awareness of, and broaden access to, educational opportunities and resources in the fast-growing sector.

Energypedia Collaborates with IRELP

IRELP comprises Education Center, which offers a global education and training database that includes vocational training courses and tertiary degree programmes, webinars, and a library of renewable energy training materials; and Career Center, which offers renewable energy internship opportunities and career guidance. With active users all over the world, IRELP is helping students, aspiring professionals and future decision makers embark on exciting renewable energy careers.

In the coming month, IRELP will launch an online community that will bring together individuals from across the world who share the vision of a sustainable future powered by renewable energy. The community will offer public discussion forums where people will be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and start debate on important renewable energy topics.

One of energypedia’s central objectives is to promote and support the exchange of knowledge by providing links among knowledge bases worldwide and foster collaboration in order to ensure that knowledge gaps are successfully filled by capable organizations and individuals. Both partners are confident that they can work together collaboratively and strategically to ensure that the new relationship allows each organisation to develop their respective missions fully.
