BOEM to Attend USA Science and Engineering Festival

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is an official partner of the third USA Science and Engineering Festival, taking place Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The festival is free and open to the public. The working hours are from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

BOEM will be exhibiting at booth 3537, in the Earth Sciences Pavilion where they will present their work on powering the future with ocean energy.

Fun hands-on activities related to environmental science, geology and offshore oil and gas resources, and offshore renewable energy are planned.

The USA Science & Engineering Festival is a national grassroots effort to advance STEM education (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
