German Offshore Partners Launches in Frankfurt, Germany

German Offshore Partners (GOP) today announced its official launch at EWEA Offshore 2013 in Frankfurt. The Germany based company aims to conquer the global wind industry with its full turnkey offshore logistic solutions.

“There is far too much paperwork and too little performance in the market,” the company says.

The largest offshore wind event in the world forms the ideal stage for GOP to introduce its portfolio of services and solutions for businesses facing offshore installation and logistic challenges. Distinguishing factor is GOP’s capacity to provide full turnkey project management solutions for complex offshore projects. GOP founders and industry experts Carsten Dettman, Klaus Kempermann, Sjef van Breugel and Dirk Jan Kootstra teamed up to form GOP when offshore wind companies expressed their need for one-stop-shop project management services, while most parties only bring “paper solutions”.

Managing Director Klaus Kempermann: “The current supply of offshore logistic solutions shows a lot of paperwork and little vigor, while we strongly believe in a hands-on approach characterized by presence, performance and partnership. We fully control the project for the client from concept to completion. Our 20-strong team of highly skilled financial experts and project engineers, a pool of some 50 co-operating partners and an extensive industry network, enable us to manage projects with maximum cost effectiveness, risk reduction and shorter timelines.”

The company is headquartered in Bremerhaven (Germany) and is powered by Pontis Engineering professionals in the Americas, Asia and the Netherlands, providing immediate international presence and operational capability.
