Green Marine Solutions (GMS) has opened a new office at the Scottish Enterprise Inovo building in Glasgow, Scotland, as it strives to harness the benefits of the offshore wind industry, Herald Scotland reports.

The company is headquartered in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and the Glasgow base is now established to allow GMS to be in the place where many renewable energy companies have already set up their premises. The new office will initially have four working positions, with tendency for further expansion.

In May, GMS launched the ROAM software (Real-time Offshore Asset Management), a fully integrated tracking and monitoring system which can be used to manage every aspect of an offshore operation. It has already been installed at Siemens’ Teesside Project in Hartlepool to manage personnel. The system can also be used to control vessels and equipment.
