UK: Steel River Consultants Strengthens Its Team

Teesside-based Steel River Consultants (SRC) has appointed a new member of the team to help spearhead the group’s drive to become a major player in the renewables sector.

Rob Dotchin, 48, has extensive experience of HSE leadership having worked for Siemens Renewables, both on-shore and off-shore, and LV Shipping, where he was UK health, safety, quality and environmental manager.

Although it is not even three years old yet, SRC, which is based on the Preston Farm Industrial Estate, in Stockton, has already enjoyed considerable success.

Managing director Graham Tyerman said turnover has grown from £256,000 in the company’s first year to more than £850,000.

And, with the UK’s Crown Estates Round 3 projects, including Dogger Bank, about to get underway SRC is looking to meet strong demand for CDM and HSE expertise.

Graham said: “As so many of the Round 3 projects are based off the East Coast we are ideally situated to offer a full range of client services.

“Rob has joined us at an exciting time in the company’s development. He brings with him a wealth of expertise in the renewables sector that will help provide invaluable assistance to our clients.”
