Offshore Wind Market Contributes to Outreach's Growth (UK)

Outreach Ltd (stand C109 at Seawork 2013) has completed another successful year for sales and aftercare of cranes, with the team growing to over 70 people.

Marine and renewable markets have contributed to growth and Outreach now has cranes fitted to most of the latest WFSV’s/Aluminium Hull Catamarans being built to supply crew transfer and materials to offshore windfarms. Over 600 Palfinger cranes, noted for their reliability, are now fitted pm wind farms throughout Europe.

The Palfinger Group has grown with the acquisition of NED-DECK Marine and Dreggen, increasing the full product range of equipment to include marine, offshore ram/rope luffing cranes, along with the full range of lifesaving davits, FRC’s and rescue boats. The latest 7.0m Fast Rescue Craft, built by Fast RSQ, will be moored on berth V53 at Seawork.

Outreach is well-placed within the marine/offshore industry to offer sales and service relating to all forms of lifting equipment, cranes, davits and boats all supplied under the Banner of Palfinger Marine Business. Outreach also provides winches to offer a complete “one stop shop” to meet all lifting requirements, including a fully established training facility for crew/operator competency and safe operation for all equipment with final certification issued on satisfactory completion of our courses.
